We have immersed ourselves in fairy tales all week and next week we will dive into fractured fairy tales. Soon we will begin to write our own fractured fairy tale which will be a lot of fun with my awesome writers! The kids are having a lot of fun with them. Their rough drafts will probably come home in a few weeks for you to help with editing and final drafting.

We will be testing
over Chapter 10 on TUESDAY. Please,
Please go over the practice test with your child on Monday evening because this
one can be a bear. The kids are working
very hard on understanding median, mode, range, and large multiplication. Please continue to practice facts.
- ISTEP is the week of April 29th. Most likely the test will take place on Monday-Wednesday. This will be on the computer, so please help us by talking about not just clicking and checking it!
- Portfolio Night is May 3rd 6-7 with the book fair ending at 7:30. Teachers will have wish lists and kids will preview the book fair earlier that same week.
- Last Book orders due Monday, Apr. 30th (They'll go home Monday, Apr. 23)
