Relay for Life Update

I am so excited to report that we've hit our $4,000 goal. In fact we are well on our way to $5,000. Thank you sooooo much for all your contributions, whether that be in ordering pizza, coin wars, spirit days, or the snack sale. We appreciate you all!!

We hope you can make it to the Relay for Life event this Saturday, May 16th. It is all day long. Here is a quick summary of what will be happening with just our team, there are 29 other teams out there with stuff going on as well.

The Relay for Life begins at 9:30 am on Saturday, May 16th.  It is a 24 hour event, so there is plenty of time during the day to bring your friends and family to participate in the fun activities!  Please note that our timeslot for the Dunk Tank has been extended and will begin at 12:30.  We have made adjustments in times and slightly altered the schedule.  The following staff members are participating in the Dunk Tank from 12:30-2:00:

12:30- Mrs. Patterson

12:42- Mrs. Kintner

12:55- Mrs. Spurgeon  

1:08- Mrs. Elmore 

1:21 – Mrs. Moloy

1:34- Miss Wernsman

1:47- Mr. Doublestein

All money raised from the Dunk Tank during our time will benefit Brown’s team for Relay for Life.   This will also be a great time to walk together to represent our school, as well as watch some Brown Elementary entertainment, beginning at 1:00.  Come visit the Brown booth, where kids can get their face painted, visit with Captain America, and make a craft.  Also, we will have hot dogs, chips, drinks and rice Krispy treats for sale.   Please come and join in the fun!
