All students have received a login for Raz-Kids and hopefully you've seen the letter that went home. The letter is yours to keep and your child has his/her login card glued to the inside cover of their assignment notebook. The level in which your child is assigned is based on their lexile from the SRI assessment they took the second week of school.
While Raz-Kids is one of our literacy stations at school, feel free to use it as much as you like at home. If you choose to use it at home, please remind your child of the routine we use at school-
1-select a book
2-listen to the book
3-read the book
4-take the quiz.
While some students want to take a shortcut and rush through a listening then take the quiz, the routine is important in helping your child become a better reader and build his/her fluency.
