Next week we will be exploring the sun, moon, and stars. Our reading, science, spelling, and writing will all by tyed to this science unit. You'll see the science book replace the reading book and it'll go home on Tuesday with a reading bookmark. Because we are integrating our studies next week, our spelling list will be DIFFERENT than what you have at home so I'm sending home the list for next week tomorrow (Friday, Sep. 3). The list has been added to Spelling City and can be accessed from home to practice spelling. Click the link on the left side of our blog, select "find a list". About a third of the way down the page you need to enter a search item "kintner". When the teachers pop up, click on Mary Kintner.
Additionally, the final spelling test will remain on Thursday but there will not be a challenge list this week.
