For a little fun, 3rd and 4th grade are having spirit days this week. My hope is that it won't be too distracting during ISTEP week. The schedule is as follows:
Tuesday: "We're off and running" wear exercise clothing
Wednesday: "Hit it out of the park!" wear sports clothing
Thursday: "Bulldogs test better than the rest" wear bulldog clothing (or purple)
Friday: "Hats off to a great week of testing" wear your favorite hat.
ALSO: 4th grade has challenged us (all third graders) to see who will have the most kids show up for movie night, 3rd grade or 4th grade. Some of the teachers will be working that movie night because the proceeds go to the Komen foundation: I will be there! Ticket prices are $4 and each child needs a permission slip. Instructions for the permission slip were in the Brown Barker on Friday. I spoke up and told 4th grade they were goin' down!! I hope I didn't put my foot in my mouth, help!!
