Thank You!

I shared with my class that I was the lucky winner of $50 from our PSG. I will use that money for classroom needs. Thanks to all of you who support the PSG and helped make this possible.

Additionally, PSG has several activities in May and could use some help in making them happen. For example, the flower sale, Grandparent's Breakfast, and the book fair. Please contact Angela Falcone if you can help out-- falcone5@me.com

Our Special Guest

I invited Officer Crowe with his K-9 partner to visit with us last Friday. He had a lot of information to share with us, not to mention the dog. Here are the pictures I took!

March TOP Readers

Our class read a total of 10,278 minutes at home during the month of March! The top 3 readers for March are Nick with 3,901 minutes, Alexis with 905 minutes, and Michael with 620 minutes! Great job readers!

All this reading paid off when it was time to take the reading portion of the NWEA. We took it last Monday and all but 4 students met their target!

Track and Field Day

I just wanted to let everyone know that Field Day is set for Friday, May 21st! Track events, cross country, and fun activities will all take place on the practice football field the same as last year. There will be no make-up date! If it rains, we will have something planned for the gym! Please contact Ms. Franklin if you would like to volunteer!

PSG Needs You!

PSG is is need of a few good men-ok, you know what I mean:) With the book fair, the flower sale, and the grandparent's breakfast quickly approaching the PSG could use some extra volunteers. If you have some time to spare during the week of May 3rd for the book fair or on the morning of May 5th to help sort flowers, or the morning of May 7th for breakfast they would love to hear from you. Angela Falcone can be reached by email at falcone5@me.com

Thanks everyone!

NWEA Testing

Yea, we are finished. We took the last test this week and I am so proud of the effort that was put forth. Don't forget we still have the final round of ISTEP on April 26th and 27th.
