Hoosiers Helping Hoosiers

You should have seen the small purple flyer yesterday. We found out about this opportunity to help a lot of people but the window is small. If you can help at all, please send in your items on or before Friday! My class and I talked that this could very easily have been Brownsburg devastated by the tornadoes but we were very lucky! Thank you for your generosity.

Here is another list of items in need:

school supplies, books, art supplies, toiletries, paper goods, diapers, formula, baby food,

non-perishable food, water, blankets, etc.

Star Student

Our star this week has been Grace. She has showed diligence by working very hard during class and finishing her work. She is a responsible student who turns in work on time and tries very hard to do her best! Keep it up Grace.

Star Student this Week

I chose Evan to be the star student this week. Evan is a great participant in class and works hard to help the others around him. He is a citizen in and out of the classroom! Thanks Evan and keep up the good work.

Valentine Challenge

I am so proud of my class. Every student submitted a Valentine container for the Valentine Challenge. There were some VERY creative and unique containers brought in! As promised, all the 3rd graders voted on the best looking container from each class and our winner was John!

Fit for Life

I'm so glad some of you could make it to our PE class on Tuesday. The kids really love it when their parents can "hang" out with them at school and do the things they do. I know my muscles are still sore from those push-ups! (Thanks Paige-for rolling "push-ups" on the die)
