Super Stars

What a crew!!

Star Student

This week's star was Lauren. Lauren is a great citizen in the classroom. She is concerned about others' feelings and wants to see that everyone does the "right" thing and makes good choices! Thanks for your citizenship Lauren!

NFL Honors

Did you happen to see the NFL Honors? Matt Birk from the Ravens talked about the importance of reading in a child's life. It is very encouraging to see those we look up to in professional sports support our students' education. You'll have to check it out if you didn't see it!

January Top Readers

I would like to congratulate our class for reading 9,821 minutes last month at home. This is up from the previous month which is always something to celebrate! We also said "great job" to our top readers in class yesterday. They are: Grace, 1,545 minutes, Jenna, 1,020 minutes, and Hailey 765 minutes.

Keep up the great work boys and girls-your work will pay off when it comes time to see your new lexile!

Who's that Super Hero??

The students had a great time with our "super hero" theme today. Here are a few pictures!

Star Student

Jackson Shaw is our star student this week! He has been working super hard to stay in his seat and remain focused during teaching/working time. Keep it up Jackson!

IREAD information

Here is a link to the IREAD assessment your child will be taking on March 19th. The link may provide information or answer questions you may have about the test.

Please don't schedule any appointments on March 19th as it will be important that we have everyone here that can be here so that students can test with their class and avoid a "make-up"test outside of the classroom. Also, try to ensure your child gets a good night's rest and eats a nutritious breakfast before school.
